CODE OF ETHICS
DRIVE
As a member ofthe American Staffing Association, DRIVE pledges its support of, and adherence to, the principles and practices set forth below. ASA members and DRIVE Representatives agree to always abide by the following.
LEGAL & ETHICAL COMPLIANCE. Comply with all laws and regulations applicable to the business, and to maintain high standards of ethical conduct in the operation of thebusiness and in their dealings with employees, job candidates, clients, and competitors.
FAIR PRACTICES. Treat all candidates, clients, and employees with dignity, honesty, candor, and respect, and provide equal employment opportunities, based on bona fide job qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any basis prohibited by applicable law.
INTEGRITY. Maintain high standards of integrity in all advertising, recruitment, and placement efforts and activities.
HONESTY. Determine the experience and qualifications of candidates as appropriate to the circumstances or as required by law and honestly communicate such experience and qualifications to clients.
FULL DISCLOSURE. Inform candidates and clients of all information relevant to the hiring process,including whether to extend and accept an offer of employment.
DRIVE does not withhold CLIENT or candidate information from either party during the evaluation process.
DRIVE proactively seeks out additional information though recommendations of common connections, validation of candidate provided information and truthful assessments of the caliber of performance observed with full disclosure reporting of findings.
It is DRIVE policy to advise for the removal of candidates that subsequent to referral by DRIVE become disqualified during the interview process by failing to perform at DRIVE’s benchmark standards.
DRIVE proactively obtains the feedback of candidates and associates in the market regarding the culture, business practices, competitive standingand other key issues within DRIVE CLIENT companies on an ongoing basis and will share findings with candidates considering employment within the organization.
It is DRIVE’s policy to terminate relationships with clients that do not uphold the values and ethical business practices that DRIVE is committed to promoting for its candidates.
CONSIDERATION. Give proper consideration of the following prevalent issues:
Candidate Confidentiality:the extent to which candidate information shall remain confidentialand the circumstances under which candidate information may be shared with clients.
DRIVE adheres to strict confidentiality of candidate information until such time that a candidate grants explicit permission to release contact information to a specificorganization or individual.
Client Confidentiality: maintaining confidentiality regarding clients’ staffing needs, internal operations, business plans, and other client information.
Placed Candidate Solicitation:whether and when it may be acceptable tosolicit for employment opportunities for candidates previously placed by the search and placement firm with a client(s).
DRIVE does not solicit individuals withincurrentDRIVE CLIENT companies.
Client Employee Solicitation: whether and when it may be acceptable to solicit clients’ employees for employment opportunities.
DRIVE does not solicit individuals withincurrentDRIVE CLIENT companies.
Define Services: so that there is no misunderstanding between the parties, informing clients clearly and conspicuously, through contracts or otherwise, regarding the specific services to be rendered by the search and placement firm, e.g., candidate screening methods, the extent to which reference and background checks will be conducted, etc.
DRIVE practices transparency in business and discloses all services to be rendered and sets clear guidelines and expectations.
PARTNERSHIPS. When engaging in cooperative or split-fee arrangements with other search and placement firms, communicate honestly and discuss and agree upon, through contracts or otherwise, all conditions that shall govern the parties’ relationship, including but not limited toFee amounts, entitlement, collection, and disbursement; Confidentiality; Client and candidate solicitation; Client guarantees and refunds, if any, and their effect on the search and placement firms’ respective fees.
DRIVE holds independent recruiting partners to strict quality assurance metrics and practices zero tolerance for unethical recruiting practices among its partners.For this reason, the DRIVE partner recruiter network is thoroughly screened for quality control.
DRIVE does not permit third party partners to represent DRIVE CLIENT companies to candidates in the market or speak about DRIVE CLIENTS as a direct relationship situation.
All DRIVE Representatives comply with the policies herein, and have a signed acknowledgement, receipt, have confirmed a strong understanding of this code of ethics and agree to adherence compliance with the Code and DRIVE Best Practices.
